We're Frank and Natalie Burton, and our story is really a love story. It began in 2013 when two high school sweethearts got married and moved back to their hometown. Frank had a big, audacious dream to own a blackberry farm, and in the spring of 2014, we made it happen with a lot of hard work, grit, and determination. Our family and our farm have expanded along the way, especially with the addition of our 2 sweet girls, Bonnie and Hallie. We're so excited to share our journey with you.

Our original farm started with just 6 acres of blackberries: the small farm that started it all. Since that one leap of faith, we slowly created 50 acres of blackberries and 35 acres of blueberries in Georgia. In 2021, we purchased 250 acres in Tennessee and planted 25 acres of blackberries there. We plan to grow our farm over time.

All of our blackberries and blueberries are handpicked. Both the Georgia and Tennessee farms and facilities are Primus GFS food safety certified.

Fresh, ripe blueberries straight off the plant are simply irresistible. We host local Saturday sales where our community can come to the farm and purchase fresh blueberries. People love the taste, texture, and size of these berries...you just can't get this fresh produce in a grocery store. School systems in our area purchase these farm fresh blueberries as well, so the kids in school get to taste the "farm fresh" difference.

From the beginning, our schools have played a huge part in our success as a farm. Natalie taught at a local elementary school for many years, and her former students and their families enjoy being a part of the Burton Brambles story. Teachers love buying fresh berries direct from the farm, and they enjoy receiving our shelf-stable items as teacher gifts, too!
